Terms of Use

Effective 20 July 2026

1. Acceptance

By using Akunting ("the App") you agree to these Terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your license to use the App.

2. The App is a tool, not professional advice

Akunting helps you keep double-entry books and generate financial statements presented in line with IFRS. It does not provide accounting, tax, audit, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for the correctness, completeness, and regulatory compliance of any report you produce or file. Always have a qualified accountant review statements used for statutory, tax, or investment purposes.

3. Your data and backups

Your data is stored on your device. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups (the App provides export and backup features for this purpose). We cannot recover data that is lost because a device is lost, reset, or damaged, because we never receive it.

4. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App is error-free or that any calculation or report will meet a particular regulatory requirement in your jurisdiction.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the App.

6. Changes

These Terms may be updated as the App evolves (for example, when paid plans are introduced). Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
